Regional Executive Director
Jim Beaird is the Regional Executive Director for the Southeast Region of Open Bible Churches, which includes seven states. He pastored for 30 years in Wyoming, Colorado and Iowa before coming to Florida in 2002. He has a heart for pastors and leaders to train them to be true to their calling and life-long learners so they can finish life's course with a strong and vibrant effort. He and his wife, Kris, have three married sons. They reside in the Tampa Bay area of Florida.

Executive Assistant to the Director
Kris plays a vital role in the over-all operation of the region in everything from day-to-day office management to the planning of regional events. She holds a Master’s degree in Church Ministries and Leadership from Assemblies of God Theological Seminary in Springfield, MO. Additionally, she is the national director of Women’s Ministries for Open Bible Churches (http://www.loveliveleadnow.com) and has a passion for equipping women for various ministry positions. Kris and Jim have three married sons and two grandsons.

Central Florida District Director
Dwight Rodgers, Senior Pastor of Faith Community Worship Center in St. Petersburg, Florida, is a consistent and passionate leader. He and his wife of over 25 years, Jeanne, are a vibrant Pastoral team that work together to encourage and equip the people with which they interact every week. They have been pastoring together in Florida since 1990.
Pastor Rodgers received his Masters of Arts degree in Church Ministries from Assemblies of God Theological Seminary and has over 25 years in full-time ministry experience. This gives him the platform to continually pursue his God-given passion to train, develop, and disciple effective and relevant leaders for this culture. Pastor Rodgers is also an author and Certified Health Coach. He and his wife have successfully raised three grown sons.

South Florida District Director
Rev. Karl A. Francis, senior pastor of Living Word Open Bible Church, Cooper City, Florida, is a dynamic man of God, with a passion for God, a love for prayer and a deep burden for the lost. He has been involved in pastoral ministry for over 25 years. Rev. Francis and his wife, Dyrie, have two sons.
A 1977 graduate of Jamaica Open Bible Institute, he currently pastors Living Word Open Bible Church which he pioneered in 1993. Rev. Francis is by training an engineer and banker, with a Master's degree in Finance. He is currently pursuing doctoral studies in Ministry at Tyndale Theological Seminary, Texas. He served on community agencies such as the Advisory Board for Fannie Mae (Miami Dade County), National Affordable Housing Corporation and currently serves on the Board of Miami-Dade Neighborhood Housing Corp.

North District Director
Max Tyus pastors Community Christian Assembly, an Open Bible Church, in Pierson, Florida. Max and his wife, Regina, have one daughter Tyla. The Tyus' moved to Pierson in 1997 after being called to pastor the church, and have remained as pastor until the present. Max has previously served the Southeast Region as an At Large Representative to the National Board. Max serves his local community through his leadership as Chairmen of the School Advisory Council and board member for the Pierson Medical Center.
Max received his undergraduate degree from North Central University. He is a recent graduate of the inaugural Church Life Resources cohort, receiving a
Masters of Arts degree in Church Ministries from the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary. His greatest ministry passions are to encourage and develop church leaders, and to see the Spirit filled church function at its highest level.

Youth Director
Rev. Jack King and his wife, Tammy, have pastored First Open Bible Church in Tallahassee, Florida, since 1979. They have four grown children. Pastor King earned a Bachelor of Theology and a minor in Pastoral Ministry and Counseling from Liberty Christian College in Pensacola, FL. God has called him to minister to the city of Tallahasee. He also has a love for missions.

Hispanic Representative to the Regional Board
Pastor Raul Escalante represents the regional Hispanic Ministries to the Southeast Region Board and serves as a regional board member. He pastors the growing First Spanish Open Bible Church in Sunrise, Florida where he co-pastors with his wife Dora. Both are ordained ministers with Open Bible Churches.

Regional Representative to the National Hispanic Board
Pastor Angel Gonzalez represents the Southeast Region to the national Hispanic Ministries Board of Directors. He pastors the thriving Puerta De Esperanza in Miami, Florida. He holds a Doctor of Theology Degree from Vision International University and is passionate about disciple making. Both he and his wife, Rosa, are ordained ministers with Open Bible Churches. |
